Solomon reminds us of the necessary components for building a house. Not just bricks and sticks. But wisdom. Building a house doesn’t happen by accident. Neither does building a strong family to live in it. That demands intentionality.
We are living in unfamiliar times. The economy of our world has been turned upside down. Nations are in perplexity. Governments are in turmoil. People have lost their jobs. News outlets pander to people’s fear. A general sense of uneasiness has swept over our society. And so, worry can easily be justified. Of course, justifying worry doesn’t mean that our Heavenly Father has suddenly sanctioned it. Just because we can rationalize worry or present a good argument for it doesn’t mean that God has changed his mind about it!
